A month into my mostly solo runs, I am starting to understand why running with a partner, or a group, is going to play a critical role in my success. Training, as it turns out, requires a lifestyle change and a lot of sacrifice. The problem is that I am not a good sacrificer: I prefer sleep over the fresh morning air and martinis over an after-work run. Spring Fever isn't helping my case a and I have a feeling I am not alone.
