National Women's History Museum Needs A Permanent Site

The National Women's History Museum was founded in 1996 to rectify what was seen as underrepresentation of females in history books and museums across America.

The organization is now pushing for passage of The National Women's History Museum Act, currently under discussion in the House of Representatives, which would give this institution a permanent home next to the National Mall in Washington, D.C.

The organization wants advocates for expanded female representation in museums to write to representatives and display an online badge on blogs and websites. They look like this:
