Colorado's Greenest Ski Resorts: Which Ones Made The Grade? (PHOTOS)

For those eco-minded skiers (and we know Colorado has a lot of them) a Durango-base group, Ski Area Citizens Coalition has released The Ski Area Environmental Report Card so outdoor enthusiasts know how green their favorite ski resort actually is.

Last month the coalition released its 2009/2010 report card.

Their report card breaks down each score into four different categories that contribute to a resorts overall score. They are:
  1. Habitat Protection
  2. Protecting Watersheds
  3. Addressing Global Climate Change
  4. Environmental Practices and Policies
So we thought we'd take a look at how Colorado ski areas ranked. Below are the Centennial State's top 5 greenest resorts.
