Boulder High School Students Overdose On Painkillers

Justice High School Students Hospitalized

Five Justice High School students are recovering today after overdosing on prescription painkillers that one student brought to class Wednesday, according to Boulder police.

Officers were called to the school -- located in the Boulder County Justice Center at 1777 6th St. -- after noon Wednesday on a report that five students had overdosed on drugs and were throwing up, said Boulder police spokeswoman Sarah Huntley. They were taken to the Boulder Community Hospital to be examined, and they all were released to their parents, Huntley said.
