Colorado Medical Marijuana Legislation: Regulatory Versus Law Enforcement Models

When the Colorado Legislature convenes on Wednesday, January 13, medical marijuana regulation will be among the most talked-about issues debated in the general assembly. On Sunday, State Senator Chris Romer of Denver announced in a Huffington Post blog that he had become increasingly pessimistic that his proposed 'regulatory model' legislation would be able to pass, citing what he feels is an unwillingness to compromise on the part of medical marijuana advocates.
