Ezra Klein Joins Newsweek As Contributor

Washington Post blogger Ezra Klein is expanding his role within the Washington Post Newsweek family: he will join Newsweek as a contributor, Politico's Michael Calderone reports.

Calderone says Klein — who will remain with the Washington Post — will "write a bi-weekly column for the print magazine" and is also "expected to write features and online content for Newsweek."

"This way everyone at the company gets him," Newsweek editorial director Mark Miller said.

Klein, 25, joined the Washington Post from the American Prospect in 2009. He is also the creator of JournoList, an e-mail list of powerful media insiders that, according to another article by Calderone, consists of "several hundred left-leaning bloggers, political reporters, magazine writers, policy wonks and academics."
