Dallas Shooting: Shots Fired At Office Building, Per Reports

A Dallas shooting took place at an office building this morning, March 8, 2010, according to multiple media reports.

According to Fox News, a father and son were shot and the suspect shot himself after being confronted by police.

FOX 4 reports that the shooting took place in an 18-story office building in North Dallas that houses the United Texas Bank. The local NBC affiliate adds that the shooting took place on the third floor just before 11 a.m. local time.

CBS 11 News reports that two of the shooting victims were taken to Parkland Hospital and the alleged shooter was sent to Baylor Medical Center after suffering a shot to the head.

CBS 11 first reported about the incident on Twitter: "FLASH: Dallas fire says they are sending multiple amublances to a shooting scene at an office complex in North Dallas."

The Dallas Morning News tweeted that the location of the shooting was "a North Dallas bank near Medical City Dallas Hospital."
