Swedish Church Takes On Clean Water Crisis With Disturbing Ad (VIDEO)

You don't have to be a celebrity climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro to bring attention to the global clean water crisis. According to Treehugger, the Swedish Church took it upon themselves to tackle the issue by releasing this unsettling ad showing a mother feeding her baby dirty dishwater.

While the reactions within Sweden have not all been favorable, Treehugger reports that the Church has thus far received more than 5,000 text-based contributions of 50 crowns, which is about $6.50, to its clean water program, which includes projects such as building outdoor toilets, distributing water disinfecting powder and setting up water towers.
