Stephen Colbert, Bing Raise Money For Gulf Coast Cleanup

On Monday's episode of his show "The Colbert Report," Stephen Colbert raised $150,000 for the Gulf oil spill cleanup, thanks to a sponsorship by Microsoft.

Colbert explained,

"When I see these images of the coastal environment and wildlife being devastated, I just wish there was some way I could donate -- someone else's money."

He got his wish. The company agreed to give $2,500 to The Colbert Nation Gulf of America Fund, set up through the Baton Rouge Area Foundation, for each time Colbert mentioned Bing, Microsoft's search engine. In all, the comedian brought up Bing 40 times, including some creative uses of words like "rob-BING".
