Cristiano Ronaldo Love Child: Soccer Star Fathers Secret Son

Cristiano Ronaldo Admits To Fathering Love Child

Cristiano Ronaldo is out of the World Cup, but the soccer star is not done making news.

Specifically, Ronaldo has admitted to making a baby. The former FIFA World Player of the Year linked to a note on Twitter acknowledging that he has "recently become [the] father to a baby boy." According to a Portuguese newspaper, the child was conceived in San Diego and sources have speculated that he was born on June 17, four days before Ronaldo scored his only goal of the tournament in a 7-0 thrashing of North Korea.

The 25-year-old, who also works as a scantily clad model, says "no further information will be provided on this subject." More than 63,000 fans "liked" the announcement on Facebook. Scroll down for the full note:

It is with great joy and emotion that I inform I have recently become father to a baby boy. As agreed with the baby's mother, who prefers to have her identity kept confidential, my son will be under my exclusive guardianship. No further information will be provided on this subject and I request everyone to fully respect my right to privacy (and that of the child) at least on issues as personal as these are.
