'Ground Zero Mosque' Debate Officially Ridiculous: New Protest Song Hits The Web (VIDEO)

The debate over the proposed "Ground Zero" mosque has officially jumped the shark. From YouTube user TradeMartin comes this music video for an original song called "We've Got To Stop The Mosque At Ground Zero," in protest of the Islamic cultural center to be built a few blocks away from the site of the 9/11 attacks.

The song sounds oddly akin to something Matt Stone or Trey Parker would sing, and is complete with ridiculous lyrics about how the center will make "a mockery" of the attacks. Of course, there is also footage of the World Trade Center burning and some impressive iMovie cross-fades to boot. The entire thing just makes us laugh, but in an uncomfortable, we-can't-believe-this-is-real kind of way (Via The Daily What).
