UPDATE: 'Homeless Exec' Now Hiring Through Twitter

Just over five months ago, Huffington Post reported on Jim Kennedy, an executive who was homeless and running out of options. After being laid off in 2008, the former corporate development manager had used up his savings and lost his home.

In an inventive way to survive during tough times, Kennedy was transferring his frequent flyer miles he had accumulated while traveling for his job to hotel points in order to have a roof over his head for as long as possible.

Now, CNBC reports that Kennedy has found a job and is now looking to hire an employee. Kennedy landed his current position as CEO of the Internet-advertising company Netword after chronicling his desperate job search via Twitter earlier this year.

Now that he is gainfully employed again, Kennedy is searching for a sales manager the same way he found his job. He is recruiting people on his Twitter account, @HomelessThomOC by tweeting and re-tweeting job posts and updates. Earlier this week he posted this tweet in the hopes of finding a qualified individual:

"To give back, I am posting here first, looking for a sales mgr for local advertising sales Local sales/YP experience preferred PIs retweet."
