A freshman at Elon University collapsed on campus Friday morning and died, the university reported.
Michelle A. Pfleger was walking to her 9:25 a.m. class when she collapsed in front of McMichael Science Center. She was taken to Alamance Regional Medical Center where she later died, the university said in messages to students and faculty.
