Cincinnati Bengals receiver Terrell Owens defended his tweet criticizing Donovan McNabb and his new contract extension on Tuesday night's episode of "The T.Ocho Show."

After the Washington Redskins lost to the Philadelphia Eagles 59-28 on Monday night, Owens tweeted "How do u justify a 78 million dollar contract w/this type of performance?"

On his talk show, Owens explained that he should have said "management."

"Trust me. I'm all happy that he got a $78 million contract. My thing is, how does management - maybe I should have said 'management,'" Owens said. "But, how do they justify a $78 million contract when, just two weeks ago, the head coach just benched the guy."

Owens then went on a rant, saying that because the media can take shots at players, players should be able voice their opinions about other players as well.

McNabb responded to Owens' tweet on Tuesday, saying that "it's unbelievable how they can comment on what I'm doing over here?"
