DeMarcus Cousins Kicked Out: Sacramento Kings Rookie Booted From Practice

NBA Rookie Reportedly KICKED OUT Of Practice

According to Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee, rookie DeMarcus Cousins was kicked out of the Kings practice on Monday by coach Paul Westphal.

Three sources told Fanhouse that the fifth overall pick in the 2010 draft was removed from practice for arguing with Westphal several times.

"He's a very honest player. He tells you what he thinks, and I'm an honest coach. I will not lie to him, and I'll tell him when I think he's doing well and I'll tell him when I think he needs to work on something," Westphal reportedly said. "And he'll tell me what he thinks about what I think, and we'll work it out. That's what happens, and I like our relationship."

Cousins averages 10 points and seven rebounds per game for the Kings, who have lost 10 of their last 11 games.
