Angelina Jolie Defends Film Against Bosnian Rape Critics

Angelina Jolie has responded to Women Victims of War, a group of Bosnian war rape survivors that spoke out against her directorial debut film about a controversial love story that takes place during the region's 1990's-era war.

While promoting her new film with Jonny Depp, 'The Tourist,' in Paris, Jolie said that the criticism is very limited.

"There's one person who has a gripe. The absolute majority of the people, population, the cast, prime minister, president have been extremely supportive," she said, according to Reuters.

In an effort to sell the film's authenticity, she noted that 95% of the cast were survivors of a war between Serbs and Bosnians that claimed 100,000 lives.
