Baby Tawny Frogmouth Chick Born In Australia (VIDEO)

Life doesn't get much cuter than a 22-gram baby bird. That's right, this Tawny Frogmouth chick once weighed less than .05 pounds.

The Adelaide Zoo in Australia is caring for the baby bird, born this October. Early footage shows the chick at 22 grams, and now at his current weight of 197 grams.

Tawny Frogmouths are found throughout Australia. They camouflage with the color of tree branches and can stay very still, as seen in this video. While many people confuse this bird with an owl, Tawny Frogmouths are actually considered to be lazier. Anyone else really want to stick this adorably lazy fluff ball in their pocket?

Thanks to ZooBorns.com for finding this incredibly cute video!
