Golden Globe Nominee Michael Douglas: 'I Was Ready For Good News'

It's been a rough few months for star actor Michael Douglas, and so his Golden Globe nomination for 'Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps,' took on special meaning.

Douglas, who just finished treatment for throat cancer that he said was brought on by stress, expressed his happiness to The Hollywood Reporter.

"To be selected with these extraordinary nominees is an honor and boy was I ready for some good news!" he said in a statement to the website. Douglas' son Cameron was sentenced to five years in prison for dealing methamphetamine.

In November, Douglas had another rare happy time, visiting Disneyland with his family.
