The snow storm that battered the east coast earlier in the week has left thousands stranded at airports around the country.
Now comes footage of Katrien Vemeire, a visiting Belgian who waited for 10 hours at Brussels airport to come to New York for Christmas Eve and is now stuck at Newark getting back to Europe. Vemeire said she hesitated coming here once she was delayed in Brussels, but the airline would not refund her flight. She has now been waiting for 34 hours to catch a flight home.
There are tales from other passengers who speak of sleeping on the airport floor, waiting 5 days to go home and worse.
