Celebrate National Soup Month In Chicago (PHOTOS)

STAY WARM: Some Great Chicago Soup Spots

For many of us, January is Stay Inside With Blankets, Snacks and Television Month. It also happens to be National Soup Month, which is certainly weather appropriate.

Soup is warm, often healthy and usually cheap. What's not to love?

On Wednesday, the Hideout's weekly soup eating party, Soup and Bread, kicks off for the season. Chefs from Swim Cafe, Celestial Kitchens and four other eateries will be dishing out soup, and Hoosier Mama Pie Co. will be handling dessert. The proceeds go to a good cause, and there will be music too. Learn more at Gaper's Block.

If you can't make it to the Hideout, check out some other great soup spots. Did we miss your fave? Let us know in the comments. Bon Appetit!
