Katy Perry To Guest Star On 'How I Met Your Mother'

Katy Perry is set to guest star on an episode of CBS hit 'How I Met Your Mother' later this season, playing Zoey's naive cousin, USA Today reports.

Let's hope there are no muppets involved in this one.

Perry has made numerous TV guest star appearances before, most recently in a rash of spots that poked fun at her 'Sesame Street' controversy. In September, Perry filmed a singalong with Elmo that was first posted on the web, but never made it to TV after parents complained of her low-cut shirt.

That set off a spoof sketch when she was the musical guest on 'Saturday Night Live' later that month, as well as a real-life 'Simpsons' appearance that saw her serenade Mr. Burns.
