On Monday night, Grammy award winner Jennifer Hudson performed to a sold-out crowd at Chicago's House of Blues to raise money for Rahm Emanuel's mayoral campaign.
The event was organized by former White House Social Secretary Desiree Rogers, and Emanuel got on stage to introduce Hudson, who grew up on Chicago's South Side.
The show was expected to raise more than $100,000 for Emanuel's campaign.
