'Piers Morgan Tonight' Wins Demo In Second Night Ratings

Morgan Beats Hannity In Key Demo On Second Night

The second episode of "Piers Morgan Tonight" beat its Fox News rival "Hannity" in the key A25-54 demo, though it shed a large percentage of its opening-night viewers.

The CNN show drew 1.27 million viewers for its Tuesday episode, which featured an interview with Howard Stern. That's a drop from the 2.1 million who tuned in for Monday's debut. "Hannity" was watched by 2.18 million viewers.

However, Morgan beat Hannity in the all-important demo: 551,000 people in the A24-54 category watched his show, compared to 506,000 who tuned into Hannity. MSNBC's Rachel Maddow came in third in both categories.
