Three individuals were held at gunpoint in a robbery that occurred at an off-campus Victoria Court residence near the University of Delaware campus on Thursday, reports the Review.
At least one of the victims is a student. Three armed men entered the unlocked home on at around 9:30 p.m., where they confronted two residents. One of the robbers continued onto the second floor, where another resident was in a bedroom.
Although all three victims lost property -- computers, phone and wallets were stolen -- none were injured.
The home invasion follows an armed robbery that occurred near campus last week. That victim, also a University of Delaware student, was mugged while jogging, and was also not injured.
The Newark Police Department has not identified a motive for the crime and is still investigating the incident.
