NBC News Flooding Royal Wedding News Zone

NBC News is putting all of its chips on the royal wedding.

Seemingly everyone from the network will be headed to London to cover the nuptials of Prince William and Kate Middleton. The "Today" show will host a primetime special, as well as broadcast from London over three days. The show will even begin at 4 AM ET on the actual wedding day, April 29. The entire top-flight anchor team from the show will be centered in London.

In addition, Martin Bashir, who is a veteran of royals news (his interview with Princess Diana in 1992 was a bombshell heard around the globe) will anchor MSNBC's coverage from London, and "Morning Joe" will broadcast from the city for the week leading up to the wedding.

"NBC Nightly News" anchor Brian Williams will also head to the city beginning on April 27th, and broadcast there for the next three days. Williams will also be on hand during the wedding. MSNBC host Chris Jansing is also going to the UK.

As if that wasn't enough, NBC News is also rolling out a special royal wedding-themed app.

The "Today" team offered a comprehensive preview of all of this on Monday.
