A female administrator at Carpenter Avenue Elementary, who did not wish to be identified, told Patch that the school was urging concerned parents not to call in to the school. She said that the students were in lock down and unable to leave the school. They had not been told that there was a murder suspect in the area and there was no panic in the classrooms, she said.
