Martha Coakley, Mass. Legislators Could Be First To Limit Charity Exec Pay

Once again, Massachusetts is looking to be a leader.

Attorney General Martha Coakley, and legislators Sen. Mark Montigny (D-New Bedford) and Rep. Martha Walz (D-Boston) are poised to make Massachusetts the nation's first state to bar public charities from paying directors. The issue will be debated by the state Senate this week.
