British Ministry Of Defence Warns Against Military Oversharing Online (VIDEO)

Social media is an undeniable comfort for those in the military and their families as communication from remote areas easier than ever before.

But loose tweets sink fleets, and the British Ministry of Defence has produced two PSAs warning both military personnel and their loved ones to think before they "tweet, blog, update, tag, comment, check in, upload, text, and share."

You would think that those entrusted with top secret information would be more careful about their sharing, but it's not just the British MOD. Last year the Pentagon issued a social media handbook to soldiers on how to safely navigate the social media landscape.
