George C. Scott Cries Over Adam Sandler's 'Jack And Jill' Trailer (VIDEO)

WATCH: George C. Scott Weeps Watching Horrible Adam Sandler Trailer

We're not the first to point out that the trailer for Adam Sandler's newest comedy "Jack and Jill" (guys, he plays Jack and Jill!) seems like it was plucked from the cutting room floor of "Funny People" as one of the fake trailers meant to underline how Sandler's career has fallen entirely into unfunny self-parody. But George C. Scott eloquently expresses his deep sorrow much more effectively than anyone else possibly could, even from beyond the grave.

In this mash-up from Scott's 1979 film "Hardcore," Scott sits down to watch the trailer and quickly cycles through shock, betrayal and finally, effusive weeping. Like many of us, even the actor who played General Patton can't come to terms with the fact that the man who gave us Billy Madison isn't even trying anymore.
