Alonzo Mourning is being sued by a 21-year-old college student who is claiming that the former NBA player crashed into his car over the weekend and then left the scene, according to the Sun-Sentinel.
Per the report, William Candelario was driving home from Miami beach early Sunday morning when Mourning collided into his car, reportedly causing the vehicle to flip over several times.
A Florida Highway Patrol officer said Mourning's accident was the second of two crashes that occurred that morning involving Candelario's car.
The Associated Press reported that the Miami International University of Art and Design student suffered head injuries and doesn't remember exactly what happened.
Mourning, who played most of his career with the Miami Heat, reportedly claimed that Candelario had already crashed his car when he first arrived at the scene.
