Amy Winehouse's Fred Perry Line May Continue Posthumously: Report

While her distinctive beehive hair and cat-eye liner is no more, Amy Winehouse's collaboration with Fred Perry may still continue after her death.

Winehouse began collaborating with the British retailer last year, debuting the preppy Fall 2010 collection in October and a Spring 2011 collection full of Hawaiian prints this past March.

But in an interview with Harper's Bazaar for the magazine's October 2010 issue, Winehouse noted about the collections, "We've pretty much done like up to autumn/winter 2012," leading fashion insiders to wonder if there are three more collections (Fall 2011, Spring 2012, Fall 2012) in the pipeline.

As the Daily Mail notes, it would certainly be in Fred Perry's interest to keep the line running. Since Winehouse's passing last weekend, song sales jumped 2,000 percent and almost every item of her Fred Perry collection sold out on the brand's website.

(There are still a few odds and ends left, including a gingham romper and high-waisted red shorts on the Fred Perry website as well as a pair of mocassins and a herringbone pencil skirt on Asos.com.)

But there is no official word on the fate of Fred Perry By Amy Winehouse. Fashionista spoke to the brand, which said only that any decisions are "on hold until we speak with Amy's family and management."
