Carnival Cruise Lines' Carnival Fascination is a popular floating resort. The waters are crowded with sea-worthy vessels, so to make planning easier, we've done all the prep work for a cruise vacation. As part of a Huffington Post Travel series on cruise ships, here is a tip sheet offering all the key information one could ever need to know about the Carnival Fascination.
Caribbean DestinationsThe Carnival Fascination sails to the Bahamas from Jacksonville, Fla. This ship stops at different ports, including Nassau, Half Moon Cay and Freeport in the Bahamas, and Key West, Fla.
A Family CruiseThe Carnival Fascination is a Fantasy-class cruise ship. These bright, midsized ships are Carnival workhorses and features clubs and activities designed with families in mind.
Entertainment For All AgesThe Casino Royale gives passengers a place to play poker, blackjack or just pull the arm on a slot machine. Kids will enjoy a club just for them: Camp Carnival is for the 2-to-11 crowd, Circle C for tweens ages 11 to 14 and Club O2 for ages 15 to 17. Adults on the Carnival Fascination get their own adults-only haven at Serenity.
Accommodation OptionsInterior staterooms on the Carnival Fascination feature a curtain over a portion of the wall, creating the illusion of a window, whereas the ocean-view rooms have windows. The Ocean Suite and the Grand Suite staterooms boast balconies; the ship added 96 such verandas to the ship in 2010 as part of a series of improvements. Some rooms adjoin, making it easier to accommodate families.
