The Carnival Fascination sails to the Bahamas from Jacksonville, Fla. This ship stops at different ports, including Nassau, Half Moon Cay and Freeport in the Bahamas, and Key West, Fla.

The Carnival Fascination is a Fantasy-class cruise ship. These bright, midsized ships are Carnival workhorses and features clubs and activities designed with families in mind.

Entertainment For All Ages

The Casino Royale gives passengers a place to play poker, blackjack or just pull the arm on a slot machine. Kids will enjoy a club just for them: Camp Carnival is for the 2-to-11 crowd, Circle C for tweens ages 11 to 14 and Club O2 for ages 15 to 17. Adults on the Carnival Fascination get their own adults-only haven at Serenity.

Accommodation Options

Interior staterooms on the Carnival Fascination feature a curtain over a portion of the wall, creating the illusion of a window, whereas the ocean-view rooms have windows. The Ocean Suite and the Grand Suite staterooms boast balconies; the ship added 96 such verandas to the ship in 2010

Cost

The Carnival Fascination travels a standard route, but ticket prices do vary. A
from Jacksonville to the Bahamas in January may cost as little as $229 per person for an interior room, and $499 per person for a suite. A

Jet Ski Excursion

The Carnival Fascination's main dining rooms are the Sensation and Imagination. The ship doesn't offer a specialty restaurant, but it does offer a sushi bar on the promenade deck. The ship's room service is available 24 hours a day and serves pizza and sandwiches.
