A 10-year-old Lancaster, N.Y. boy was rushed to the hospital for surgery after his older sister accidentally shot him in the forehead with an arrow.
The children were playing in their family's backyard when the incident happened, according to WIVB.
The boy was initially listed in critical condition, but the Buffalo News reports that his condition has been upgraded to stable.
Police are still investigating, but no charges have been filed.
YNN reports that a neighbor said they saw the boy and his sister playing with the bow and arrow as if it was a toy, shortly before the injury.
