WATCH: Woman Saved By Fridge After House Explodes

A woman is lucky to be alive after her house blew up while she was in the kitchen.

Janice Harms' century-old home in Clara City, MN was destroyed in the explosion, but her fridge kept the roof from collapsing on top of her, according to the Star Tribune.

Harms said she crawled under the refrigerator where rescue teams found her, according to KARE.

Officials say a gas leak may have caused the explosion, but Harms told KSTP TV she never smelled gas.

According to KSTP, "while she lost her dog in the blast, Harms only suffered a broken arm and some cuts on her face and body."
