Obama Family Goes Biking In Martha's Vineyard (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: Bike Time!

Michelle Obama is practicing what she preaches.

The First Lady joined her family on Tuesday for some exercise, biking around Manuel F. Correllus State Forest in Chilmark on Martha's Vineyard. Like they've done in the past, the Obamas strapped on their helmets and went for a spin (although according to pool reports, the ride less than laid back -- Secret Service agents trailed the family the whole way, by both bike and SUV).

Looking comfortable in her athletic gear, FLOTUS opted for stretchy purple shorts and a patterned white tee, pairing the look with youthful, laceless blue sneakers. Sasha and Malia also chose fun footwear, with 10-year-old Sasha sporting cobalt sneaks with bright yellow soles and 13-year-old Malia wearing hot pink and neon yellow tennis shoes (which we're kind of coveting now).

Unlike his colorful family, POTUS chose simple black and white... but with a twist! President Obama paired his jeans and black polo with surprisingly cool, bright white Puma sneakers. Maybe the Dad-in-Chief took taken some style advice from his daughters?

After bike riding, the foursome headed to a private beach in Edgartown, on the south side of Martha's Vineyard, said White House pool reports.
