Hurricane Irene came and went, and residents all along the East Coast are left to clean up the massive storm’s aftermath. The Category 3 hurricane (which quieted into a tropical storm by the time it reached New England) touched 1,100 miles of the Atlantic coastline — from North Carolina to Vermont — flooding many towns, leaving millions without power, even taking more than 30 lives.
