The mother of slain Yale student, Annie Le, is speaking out about why she holds the university responsible for the death of her daughter. 'Today' anchor Ann Curry speaks to mother Vivian Le about her sense of loss live in the studio. "I want to say to the world, I love Annie. I'm missing her a lot. And I want the world to know that she was a smart girl," Le says emotionally. "She would become a very good scientist and, you know, helpful for the country," she adds.
"She died for nothing. She died in vain," says the grieving mother. Le wants Yale to do more to protect their students, improving their security methods. "Yale let it happen and [they] have to [be] responsible for that," says Le.
