The inspiration: A 50s meets 90s mashup of dramatic brows and pin-straight hair.

Makeup: Tom Pecheux called this exaggerated, overdrawn look "Elizabeth Taylor at the gym." With an angled brush dipped in MAC Eyeshadow in Carbon, Pecheux heavily lined the brows. "It's like a 50's brow," he says of the thick black graphic shape. The rest of the face was kept simple, matte foundation and a touch of MAC Transparent Gloss on the lids. No mascara, no liner, no lips. In other words, what Pecheux calls "a beauty diet!"

Hair: Frekkai lead stylist Paul Hanlon wanted the hair to have a 90s, Helmut Lang, David Sims feel. "Like a clean version of grunge," he says of the stick straight, razored style. "Like a lot of the models at that time, they always had a right part, their hair was always in their left eye." Hanlon started by adding in tracks of extensions, which were then shaped with a razor. He worked in Fekkai Full Volume Mousse to the front section -- before blowing it dry -- to ensure those pieces would remain flat. He finished the style with Fekkai Sheer Hold Hairspray.

Nails: CND manicurist Candice Manacchio applied one coat of CND Putty (a sheer nude), followed by a coat of Super Matte Polish. "Second skin," says Manacchio.
