Tyra Banks dropped by a New York bookstore last night to sign copies of her novel, "Modelland." The media mogul and former supermodel has been on a tireless promotion tour since the book's late summer release, which also included a memorable visit to "Good Morning America," when she rocked a gold-sequined wing attached to her eye (and when she also announced she has enrolled at Harvard Business School).
The reason for the gold wing? "Modelland" is a book about a girl named Tookie De La Creme, a misfit model who lives in a fantasy world with her misfit friends -- models Shiraz, Dillon and Piper, the latter who has Albinism.
Now the gold wing makes sense, right?
