Engaged Elizabeth Hurley, Hugh Grant Stay Close

Engaged Elizabeth Hurley Stays Close With Hugh Grant

British beauty Elizabeth Hurley, now engaged to Aussie cricket star Shane Warne, has yet to disclose when exactly she'll be tying the knot, but one person who is sure to be invited to her big day is her ex, Hugh Grant -- who also happens to be the godfather of her nine-year-old son.

“We’ve stayed very good friends and he lives close by and he actually gets on very well with my new boyfriend,” Hurley told me on the set of "New York Live."

But if Grant or the other invited guests are expecting yummy processed food at the wedding, they should think again.

"My son is nine and unless we have eaten in a restaurant or someone else's house, he's only ever eaten meat grown on my farm, vegetables grown by me,” Hurley said. "When he's home there is no processed food, no junk food and I don’t eat that either but of course when I'm out I'll have a hotdog, a hamburger … I think it's made a big difference to his constitution and I think it made a difference to mine."

Hurley, who is busy raising breast cancer awareness with Estee Lauder, recalled when she burst onto the scene at the 1994 premiere of "Four Weddings and A Funeral," on Grant's arm in that unforgettable Versace dress with the safety pins still in it.

"I don’t think I had ever had any designer clothes in my life and to be truthful I had never heard of Versace,” laughed Hurley. "Hugh, my then boyfriend, had his first big premiere of 'Four Weddings and A Funeral' and I remember I said 'I don’t have anything to wear' and someone said someone has been given a pile of stuff. Do you want one of those? And in the apartment we lived in at the time we didn’t have a full-length mirror so I actually hadn't seen myself in it."

Hurley looked great then, and just as wonderful now.
