VIDEO: Carré Otis Opens Up About Drug Abuse, Anorexia and Mickey Rourke

If there was ever a supermodel that represented the glamorous, wild and outrageous side of modeling it is Carré Otis. In the late '80s and early '90s, the San Francisco native covered American and British Vogue, starred in Calvin Klein and Guess ads, battled drug addiction and anorexia, survived an accidental gunshot wound and lived to tell about her tumultuous marriage to her “Wild Orchid” costar Mickey Rourke. Though her rocky days are long behind her -- the 43 year-old is now happily married with two daughters -- Otis penned a new book, "Beauty Disrupted” to tell her side of the story as a response to the outlandish reports she heard in the press when Rourke was promoting "The Wrestler." Stylelist sat down with the new author to discuss her epic highs and lows.
