Louisiana Corn Maze Thanks Seal Team 6 (VIDEO)

A Louisiana man has used a corn field to write a very large thank you note to Seal Team 6, the elite unit that stormed Osama Bin Laden's compound in Pakistan and sustained 22 casualties when their helicopter crashed in Afghanistan.

Mike Billings, the owner of Dixie Maze Farms, created a corn maze that not only says "Thank You Seal Team 6," but also features the unit's anchor insignia.

Dixie Maze Farms is a local tourist attraction in Shreveport that draws thousands of visitors every fall, NBC 2 reports. The Farm hosts fright nights and a festival during the fall.

The finished product is so impressively accomplished that it truly pushes the boundaries of the corn maze as an artistic medium.

Billings has previously designed mazes that honored Elvis, Terry Bradshaw and a local hockey team. He told a local NBC affiliate that he chose to honor Seal Team 6 this year because "they didn't forget who our enemies are and they finished the job."

Two of the members of the team who died in Afghanistan were from nearby Shreveport.

The advent of G.P.S. technology has made building elaborate corn mazes easier over the last decade. The era of right angles has clearly come to an end as both bizarrely intricate and patriotic mazes are built across the country.
