Juanes Rocks Out At NPR’s ‘Tiny Desk Concert’ Series

It’s very rare to get a one-on-one with international superstar Juanes, but luckily for fans, NPR had the opportunity to record an intimate session with him for their “Tiny Desk Concert” series.

The Colombian musician started the session with “Hoy Me Voy” then with the popular “Yerbatero” ending with his international hit, “La Camisa Negra.”

"His infectious, smartly written blend of Colombian roots-folk and rock 'n' roll has made him a superstar throughout Latin America, Europe and the U.S.” NPR reported. “But ultimately, it's a unique combination of music and charisma that can captivate tens of thousands in a stadium or a few dozen in a busy office.”

The acoustic session was recorded at NPR’s offices in Washington D.C. during his visit to the capital where he was honored at The 25th Anniversary Of The Hispanic Heritage Awards.
