Lil B's 'I Got AIDS': New Album Features HIV/AIDS Awareness Anthem (VIDEO)

LISTEN: Lil B's Controversially Named HIV Awareness Anthem

Rapper Lil B received death threats and experienced a backlash among many of his hard-earned fans after his decision to name his recent album "I'm Gay," and now the hip-hop MC is raising eyebrows yet again with another controversial tune.

One of the cuts on his newest album "BasedGod Velli" is called "I Got AIDS," which recalls the awareness anthems of the late 1990s, such as TLC's "Waterfalls." As HIV Plus Magazine has noted, however, Lil B's message is straightforward and "refreshingly not homophobic."

"No protection/I should've used a condom instead of trusting these women," Lil B rhymes in the track. "Now I'm f**ked because I had unprotected sex/Take it from me, go get checked/That'd be your best bet."
