Thanksgiving holiday travelers know to expect the unexpected. Lost luggage, delayed flights, and torturous security lines are nearly inescapable. And while most airports are the same old song and dance, Denver International Airport on Tuesday was an entirely different song and dance.
In a video posted to YouTube, approximately 100 dancers from Denver's Community-Minded Dance (cmDance) group materialized in the airport's great hall and performed a 'Lindy Hop' to a medley of Swing classics. The flash mob danced for about five minutes, then disappeared into the crowd.
DIA expects more than one million Thanksgiving travelers to pass through the airport this week.
