Unless you're one of the rare few teens left whose parents haven't learned how to text yet, you've experienced first-hand the hilarious things that can result from texting parents. Miscommunication, auto-type errors, and awkward exchanges abound in parent-child cellphone interactions.
While teens grew up texting, our parents had to figure it out later in life -- and most of them just never seem to completely get it. There's a generation gap here that seems almost insurmountable. As Lauren Kaelin and Sophia Fraioli, authors of When Parents Text, put it, "We wrote the rule book, and now our parents are trying to learn the rules."
