Macy's 2011 Holiday Windows And The Store's Best Gifts (PHOTOS)

Window shopping is always more exciting during the holiday season, especially when department stores around the country deck theirs out in the most creative and captivating of ways. This year brings some of the most magical, technologically advanced holiday windows and we'll be profiling the best of the best (along with the best gift buys) from each major store.

This week, we're taking a trip to Macy's. The famous address on 34th street has long been home to the joy of Christmas miracles, and this season's window displays exemplify just that. They are all about the joy of giving, believing and most importantly wish-making. The windows house interactive, 3D panels, which allow viewers to enter the "Wish Factory" via a touchscreen and create their own ornament that will then appear in the display.
