Cenk Uygur: 'Go To Al Sharpton' For Obama-Loving Show (VIDEO)

WATCH: Cenk Uygur Takes A Swipe At Sharpton

Newly minted Current TV host Cenk Uygur took another swipe at his cable news nemesis Al Sharpton on Thursday.

Sharpton was Uygur's replacement after the latter's unceremonious departure from MSNBC in July. Uygur claimed that he was booted from his hosting gig because he was too tough on the Obama administration -- and that Sharpton was given his slot because he was cozy with people in power. (Sharpton and MSNBC denied both of these claims.)

On Thursday, Uygur read some emails from viewers who took issue with some critical things he'd said about Obama.

"If he's wrong about something, I've got to tell you!" Uygur said in response. I can't be like, 'Give me an O! Give me a B! Obama's great!' If you want that kind of show, go to Al Sharpton."

As his staff fanned the flames by murmuring "oooohhhhhh," Uygur said, "did I say that?"
