Louis C.K. Tells Leno He Hopes Bears Don't Eat His Kids (VIDEO)

WATCH: Louis C.K. Imagines Worst Phone Call Of All Time

Louis C.K. went on "The Tonight Show" on Wednesday evening, and told host Jay Leno about a recent camping trip he went on with his children, and proved once again that he is not afraid to tread in waters where few other stand-ups will go. In this case, he theorizes what a phone call to his kids' mother would sound like if he had to tell her they had been eaten by bears.

C.K. went on Leno's show to promote his new special "Live at the Beacon Theatre," which he self-released on his site (and even has turned a profit). After telling a story about trying to make it to the airport on time to go to Los Angeles for "The Tonight Show" -- and even broke the unspoken rule of not bringing up Conan O'Brien's "Tonight Show" stint -- he told a tale of going camping with his kids, running into some bears and having to formulate a plan of what he'd do if the bears devoured his daughters. He then pulled a Bob Newhart and imagined his side of the phone conversation he would inevitably have with his ex-wife to explain what happened.

"No, it wasn't quick at all. It was horrible."
