Cross-Dresser Attempts To Rob McDonald's, Shot By Agent Who Was In The Store

A man allegedly attempting to rob a clerk at a Florida McDonald's was shot by a Homeland Security officer who happened to be in the store.

The incident happened at about midnight Saturday in West Palm Beach, according to the Palm Beach Post. The suspect, who was reportedly dressed as a woman, later died at a local hospital.

The man is described as a black male in his 20s. Police are withholding the suspect's name until family is notified, Chase Scott, a spokesperson for the West Palm Beach police told WPTV.

Employees at the McDonald's store are doing well, Andrea Knibbs, a company spokesperson, told CBS 12. Authorities are still investigating.

Last year, an Oklahoma woman stole money from a McDonald's cash register while wearing underwear over her head. Surveillance cameras captured the suspect, who was also donning a blond wig, opening the a drive-thru window and taking the cash.
